The NAOWA President, Mrs Salamatu F Yahaya, has commissioned a newly constructed 5 A-Side football pitch at the NAOWA College Abuja on Saturday, 20 May 2023.
In her keynote remarks, President NAOWA stated that the commissioning of the foot ball pitch is in continuation of her efforts at standardizing NAOWA Schools by providing all the requirements needed of a modern day learning Institution. President NAOWA also used the medium to introduce the School Policy Handbook for NAOWA Schools Nationwide, which is aimed at providing guidelines for students,teachers, and parents as well as other regulations that will provide uniformity in all NAOWA Schools. Mrs Salamatu Yahaya appreciated the Parents Teachers Association for their continuous support and cooperation in the educational development of the student’s.
Highpoints of the commissioning ceremony include novelty football matches between the teachers and parents,also between students in the school. Others include cultural dance, award presentation, and group photographs.
