The Nigerian Army is organizing its First Quarter 2016 Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Conference this week in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The Conference slated to hold at the Army Headquarters Command Officers Mess, Asokoro, Abuja from 5th – 8th April 2016, is aimed at taking stock of the Nigerian Army’s activities within the first three months of the year, discuss general administration of troops and review the various Nigerian Army operations across the country and peacekeeping operations abroad, as well as project strategies for the next quarter.
The Conference will also afford the COAS and the Principal Staff Officers (PSOs) the opportunity to have firsthand information on the operational readiness of all Army formations.
During the Conference, far reaching decisions that would affect the Service would also be taken.
